Long standing producer and industry veteran Mike Jefford embodies the form of Positive Centre, one of the most versatile and talented British artists now based in North-Western Portugal.
Eminent in his presence within the Techno community, Mike has released several EP’s across some of the industries best imprints, including Our Circula Sound, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Leyla, SNTS, Opal Tapes, Horo and on his own label, In Silent Series.
Over the course of his development as a producer and DJ, as Positive Centre, Mike has performed at venues spanning the breadth of the globe – an achievement that has included performances in more than 15 countries at countless notable venues.
Over time, Mike’s career has progressed and evolved into performances for a diverse span of creative projects including sets for Boiler Room, Dommune – Japan, Tresor, Slam, Atonal and more.

Since 2013, Mike has released more than 15 singles and remixes as Positive Centre and during this time he has also started a duo project with established Osiris Records frequenter Overlook. Under the joint alias ‘Carrier’, Positive Centre and Overlook have released on Tommy Four Seven’s renowned imprint 47 and have new music in the works for 2019 and 2020.
Back in 2017, Mike launched his own record label entitled ‘In Silent Series’ which began with an EP of his own music and was followed by several releases featuring artists such as SNTS, SHXCXCHCXSH, Sigha, Sleeparchive, Inner8 and Chimess.
As a longstanding contributor to the music industry, Mike continues to deliver outstanding productions and to perform at some of the worlds most established venues. Our recent engagements with Mike include having his track Lilith being featured on the second ABYSS vinyl release, Relative Disparity.
In addition, Mike has joined our sister project Fracture Agency for bookings and artist management, which will soon lead to yet more performance dates for one of our incredibly talented friends and musicians, Michael Jefford.
